Adversary Weapons & System Analysis

Centauri leverages our expertise and experience decomposing the adversary threat and developing asymmetric measures to counter these systems.

Our engineers develop and design test vectors that exercise their user equipment’s (UE) real-world performance in challenged environments (rather than performance found in a specification sheet). We provide in-depth analyses of subsequent UE performance within these environments. This enables the defense community to understand the effects of emerging threats and to develop contingency plans in advance of operations to ensure warfighter success.

Our Approach

Centauri provides advanced performance assessments of US and adversary user equipment, supported by our automated Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) testing tools. This permits results to be quickly delivered to customers with time for them to analyze and communicate outcomes.
Our timely and accurate results have proven time and again that this service is invaluable to ensure our customers are choosing the right user equipment for the right operational use for critical acquisition decisions. Together, with the most advanced modeling and simulation tools, Centauri can readily conduct both hardware-in-the-loop and field testing of adversary and US systems.

Geo-Positioning and Targeting

Geo-positioning, a foundational operation in remote sensing and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), determines the location of objects with respect to a given reference frame based on the information gathered by the sensor(s) from a location remote to the observed objects. Knowing that something exists in the scene is important, but knowing precisely where it is located gives context and makes the data actionable. The process of geo-positioning provides the “where” aspect of intelligence gathering.

Modeling Simulation and Analysis

Modeling Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) is a group of engineering processes that involves the study of system components, the development of mathematical and physics-based algorithms that can be coded into numerical software models and/or simulators. Modeling and simulation is used to explore solution trade space and evaluate alternatives to provide detailed insights to analytical questions.
