Centauri personnel have over 30 years of experience supporting Electro-Optical tracking systems for Deportment of Defense Space Domain Awareness and Missile Defense Agency mission objectives.

     Centauri subject matter experts provide system level integration for target acquisition, tracking, pointing calibration, and sensor capabilities at multiple locations including the Air Force Maui Optical Site, Vandenberg Air Force Base, and Pacific Missile Range Facility. Centauri personnel designed, developed, and deployed “Raven” telescope automation technology across multiple sites used operationally as contributing sensors to the Space Surveillance Network. The Raven system is fully automated and produces and disseminates astrometric measurements nightly to Space Command.

    Centauri provides an unmatched comprehensive capability for ground-based telescope and optical tracking allowing our customers to achieve all mission objectives. Centauri implements a multi-source, multi-target measurement fusion engine using all available cueing sources including radar, topocentric angle measurements, and lasers, to develop tracking solutions in real-time. Centauri provides these solutions for fixed, mobile and stabilized at-sea platforms (using inertial guidance systems) and is able to auto-align these tracking systems world-wide. Centauri continues to advance state-of-the-art performance including developing, integrating, and operationally fielding the next generation of deep learning-based detection and tracking solutions providing the ability meet customer requirements in the most challenging environments.

    Centauri excels at calibrating Electro-Optical systems against astrometric truth sources, achieving a sub arc-second whole-sky pointing accuracy. Support for active laser illumination tracking scenarios is a fundamental core capability; active mission support incorporates target point-ahead, receiver track-lag, aimpoint offset, and predictive avoidance. Centauri specializes in automated or fully-autonomous command and controls system but also provides an integrated video tracking solution that is part of an all-inclusive human-machine interface which features point-and-click interaction with real-time video feeds and simulation/situational-awareness functionality. Centauri provides low-level high-bandwidth mount controller solutions including a feedback control loop interfacing directly with motors/encoders designed to minimize errors between the commanded and measured position.
