Centauri Announces Hiring of Former AFRL Vice Commander
Retired Colonel Elena Oberg will support multiple contracts and act as a leading resource for critical missions
DAYTON, OH, Nov. 14, 2019 – Centauri, a leading provider of high-end engineering, intelligence, cybersecurity and advanced technology solutions, today announced the hiring of U.S. Air Force Colonel (Ret.) Elena Oberg as a senior systems engineer and program manager at the company’s growing Dayton office. Elena will support multiple contracts and act as a leading resource for teams on critical missions for customers.

Elena joins Centauri having held senior-level positions from Wing to the Joint Staff in these fields, and her broad expertise will ensure we continue to build on our success in supporting our customers’ critical missions.”

Elena has a distinguished track record of collaborating across the Miami Valley defense and technology community. She’s known in the industry for being an exceptional team builder and mentor to those in her field. Previously, she served as Vice Commander at the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, where she assisted in leading the discovery, development and integration of warfighting technologies for AFRL’s air, space and cyberspace force.
